What’s the dress code?

Below are some light dress code guidelines for those who find it helpful — but know that we want you to wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and/or special.

Welcome Dinner: Casual
Mike will be in a button-down and chinos, Michelle will be in a top and skirt. Come as you are!

Wedding Day: Garden Formal
Think dressed-up, but still easygoing — like you’re heading to a fancy garden party.

Farewell Brunch: Anything Goes
Roll out of bed and meet us for coffee and breakfast — No judgment here.

Is there a gift registry?

Your presence is the greatest gift — we mean it. We know it takes time and effort to travel, and just having you there to celebrate with us is more than enough.

If you do want to give us a gift, you can find our registry here.

How early do I need to get to the ferry?

BC Ferries is very strict about check-in times, even if you have a reservation! Arrive at the ferry terminal 60 minutes early to to avoid missing your sailing. Check-in closes 45 minutes before departure.

What’s the food and drink situation?

Food will be served family-style. If you noted any dietary restrictions in your RSVP, we’ve made sure the venue is prepared with options for you.
As for drinks: there will be cocktails, wine, and an open bar!

Do I need a car?

There is no bus, taxi, or uber on Galiano Island, so having access to a car is important. We have arranged for a shuttle bus to bring guests to the venue (Bodega Ridge) on the Wedding Day, and back home afterwards. End-of-night shuttles will run between 10:30pm and 12:30am.
